It was within this nurturing environment that the concept of 'War Fam Eagle' took root, conceived by a visionary Auburn University PhD graduate who was deeply moved by the university's spirit of unity and belonging. Collaborating with a talented local artist, also an alumnus of Auburn University, the vision swiftly materialized into reality.
The primary aim in crafting the 'War Fam Eagle' logo was to capture the essence of Auburn.
'War Fam Eagle' is a rallying cry that resonates with the shared experience and unwavering spirit of community that defines Auburn University.
The logo ties in an oak tree, which not only symbolizes Auburn’s family tree but is also deep in Auburn University’s history and tradition. Moreover, oak trees represent strength, stability, and endurance, which are some of the leading pillars at the foundation and core of Auburn University. A soaring eagle is also included in the logo to emphasize Auburn’s battle cry, “War Eagle.”
